Courtship and Processional Equipment

The Holy Week processions of the parishioners always open with the wooden guide cross with gold decorations donated by a parishioner in 2017 accompanied by two glass lanterns. Then they are ordered, carrying torches
in two parallel rows, the parishioners dressed in the capuchin habit of the Congregation composed of a matte black tunic, of simple workmanship. It is attached to the waist by means of a white cotton cord or cincture. The first year it was girded by a matte white band, passing in the posterior ones to the girdle. The cap is unreinforced, made of the same material as the tunic and is hand-embroidered in white thread with the parochial shield or emblem, that is, a crowned cross. The hooded suit is completed with the traditional white gloves. All the costumes that accompany the Holy Christ are the same, without any distinction. To highlight something of him, the simplicity and austerity. However, the members of the band of bugles and drums, for Holy Wednesday, change the white embroidery for gold and the wind components the hood for a hood.

Between the rows and before the passage, different parishioners carry the banner of the Fellowship with the parochial coat of arms embroidered by hand in white silk, the lantern, censer and silver naveta from the 16th century and the silver processional cross, also from the 16th century. XVI, which is accompanied by two recently made silver candlesticks.
